At The Relay...

Jamie is getting teal T-shirts (the color symbolizing ovarian cancer) for the team, and we'll be adding a team logo to the shirts. We're also encouraged to decorate our team campsite area with balloons, etc. so if you've got some festive additions, feel free to bring them!

Set up for the Relay starts at 9:00 am on Friday (although official campsite set up isn't until 3:00 pm), and anyone who shows up early to help with set up gets dibs on camping spots... so, if you're camping out for the event, try to get there as early as possible on Friday.

Stuff to Bring

Cards or Games
Cooler and Ice
Food Snacks and Drinks
Flashlight
Extra clothing
2 Pair of shoes
Sunscreen and Hats
Umbrellas and Rain gear
Quarters for Quarter Lap
Crazy Hat for Crazy Hat Lap
Tricycle for kids who want to participate in the Tricycle Race

And, if you’re camping out…

Katrina, I LOVE THE LOGO!!!! That is so cool. I can't wait to see it on the shirts.

John and I are planning on taking the day off on Friday and take the trailer up early on Friday. We will try to stake claim on some spots if we can. Buz and Nona are welcome to bring their motorhome as well.

Keep in mind that the infield of the track is astroturf, so you have to have a free standing tent!! No pegs are allowed to be driven in the turf :(

Can't wait to see everyone!!

Also, forgot to ask if you could drop a note here to let us know when you might be arriving for the festivities. Thanks

Sounds like a lot of fun. I will be bringing Abby and my niece, Kristen, Friday night (we are hoping to get there before 6 since we have the baton but we'll see about traffic). I expect that Abby will be ready for bed by 10-ish so we'll head home after the Luminaria Ceremony. Can't wait to see you Jamie!

We have decided not to bring the motorhome....once we got all hooked up and set up, it didn't sound so exciting to move it. However, Buz, Austin and I will be there by 6:00 and Austin and I will be spending the night. I plan on sleeping in the car...done it before and survived! Austin will either sleep with me or throw in with a tent if someone will allow him. We will be glad to walk during the night or early in the AM when the numbers thin down. Buz will be going back home. I believe Jeff is going to try and come and put some time in also. Looking forward to seeing you Jamie...and meeting all your friends. Nona

I forgot to add that we can make a run to Costco on our way if you need anything at all. Nona

I hate to disappoint anyone, but the logo transfer did not go well, so I'm afraid we just have teal t-shirts to wear. I didn't want to ruin the shirts, so I didn't continue with the logo's after viewing my test shirt. Sorry :(
